Old Meets New

This interesting roofline was spotted while walking around the walls of the old town area of Dubrovnik in Croatia. There were many homes that were destroyed during the wars of the '90s. I can only imagine that those with a new roof suffered. Even though the walls are in great shape (who knows how much work goes into keeping them standing) it is still sad to see remains of homes that took hits during the war.
